You've seen it on the TV you've heard it on the radio now it's your chance to help in the easiest possible way. The Dublin Castle and Bugbear Promotions both long term residents and contributors to Camden Town bring you the Camden Market Stall Holders Fire Benefit Gig. A gig to raise money for those who lost their stalls and livelihoods in the Camden Market fire a few months ago. In attendance will be the cream of the North London unsigned scene including special guest DJ's. So spread the word, come down and have a good time.
THE LAST DETAIL
Pumping punkish indie rock 3 piece. Something of The Undertones, The Kinks and certainly Supergrass...interesting songs that don't just traverse the usual boring 3 chord path. London based, plenty of zip and cool 60s pop undercurrent whilst being totally now.

BRITISH BROKEN CLASS
Miserabilist Keane vibes mixed up with equally miserabilist Morrissey/old school indie vibes…it's all the better for that though.. has something totally of it’s own mind you, pretty darned compelling..a touch of NewOrder/The Cure too. Actually reminds me of McCarthy …interesting. MySpace
NO MIND A tight crisply rocking outfit taking Muse into slightly stranger textures whereby time sigs are tweaked progressively and some nigh on Tool hard edges take yer head off. MySpace
VIOLENCE BY BRAILLE Punky take on the melodic end of grunge lunge, making VBB something like a strange wedding of PIL and Foo Fighters. MySpace
OF ARROWE HILL Adam of Of Arrowe Hill more accurately, for this is a solo spot from the mysteriously overlooked psych pop swinger from The Pool…if you aren’t familiar with his material check it out, a brilliantly realized blending of White Album Beatles and Beggars Banquet Stones. And just incase you thought it was only ever 1968 in Adam’s world, be aware of his Oasis but still good songsmithery and Sean Ryder ish vocal demeanour. Class act. MySpace
SUN Very much a hot to trot item ….a chilled out, Lazy Sunday vibe with some groovy mod-ish / mode-ish turns. Gonna be big so catch em here and now. Poptastic …. MySpace
IN SEARCH OF APOLLO Featuring some unusual vocals and dark twisting rock Audioslave stylie. Could say that what we have here though is an old school classy rock band, finely tuned and well sorted for tunes. MySpace
THE TOY BAND A wonderfully warm sound is conjured by these marvellous musicians. Guitars intertwine with apposite percussion and fabulous keyboard colour, but the songs are pure artful pop with influences ranging from XTC to Donovan through Traffic. Ace. MySpace
